Hey all, Faith here again (briefly). Christine did her own write up this time...no more guessing on my part :) This project is another piece out of the MDF Base Packs.
Into it straight away. I covered the whole piece with white crackle paste and left it over night to dry. Next day I started adding all my embellishments including some of the prima IOD moulds which I made with air dry clay couple days prior.

I used Heavy body gel by Prima to stick everything down & dried with heat tool. Once dry I gave everything a couple coats black gesso and dried again.

To add colours to my project I used the Rust Sets by Prima. I first started adding the blue from the Patina Paste Set followed with a spritz of water & dried. Next I used the green from same set & dried. Lastly, Brown Rust from the Rust Set. Again I spritz it to water down the colour.
When everything was dry I used Metallique wax in aged brass to highlight :) Here’s the results.

Hope this inspires you to get your bits n pieces out and create a piece of your own :)
