Hi readers, Today I have an upcycled book that I would like to share with you all. This month's creative kit from Faith Pocock Craft Studio included the gorgeous "Grace" collection from Authentique
I couldn't wiat to bust these open and I had the perfect project in mind for them. I took an old hard cover book that picked up for a few cents at my local op-shop. The rest is not fo the squeamish lol...espeically if it is particularly hard for you to see a book massacred :D
I cut the pages from my book and set them aside.
I then cut some sides from a piece of corrugated cardboard.
Once I had done this. I chose my papers and began covering the cover.
...and the sides.
I attached the sides to the box
and lined the insides.
It was at this stage where I decided to not turn it into a box but to add a drawer instead.
and I also decided to change up the orientation and started decorating the front vertically.
