Matte Black and Metals Shadow Box by Tasha Chanwai

Hey crafters, Today I want to share a recent project I made using supplies from Faith Pocock Craft Studio .

I painted one of faiths raw shadow box with matte acrylic paint and then gave it a spray with Lindy's. I then measured and cut this metallic rose gold contact and adhered it to the box.

Mapping out roughly where I wanted pieces to be placed I continued to go through my stash and pull out embellishments I liked.

I didn't really have a plan and there is no real technique to this, you just gather and arrange and then adhere. I always use E6000 for adhereing metal and resin and such. I used sprays....embossing powders...paints and inks to add colour to the different embellishments.

These shadow boxes come ready to assemble. The ideas for these assemblages are endless and so much fun. Here are some pics.

I hope you get inspired to do something creative today. Tasha
