Today I have a Canvas to share with you.
MOULDS -
If you haven't tried the Prima IOD Moulds or any moulds for that matter...get some and have a play. Here's the process I followed for my little canvas. Prior to starting my Canvas I used some dry clay to use in my Prima IOD mould and left them overnight to harden. The capture of the detail on these moulds are awesome.
CANVAS BASE -
I started with gluing down some paper (any paper) to the canvas using 3D matte gel. To add extra dimension I used some texture paste through a crafters workshop stencil then I covered it with black gesso and touched the high points with some white gesso.
ELEMENTS -
I used a chipboard frame & painted it with art alchemy acrylic paint in light patina. I also painted the Escucheons #2 IOD moulds with patina. Once dry I sprayed some Lindy's Dark Chocolate Truffle and wiped off the excess with a baby wipe.
The pocket watch was painted with black gesso then lightly dry brushed with white gesso.
The butterflies with acrylic paint in light patina and rich turquoise.
BRINGING IT ALL TOGETHER -
I strategically placed all my pieces on to the canvas and once I was happy with the look - I glued them all down using heavy body gel. Last touches were adding some black micro beads & rust paste!
There you go 😊 Hope this inspires you to get some crafting done. These little canvasses make great little pressies for a wall hanging.
Until next time, happy crafting! Christine
