Hey everyone I am delighted to be back with another project using Faith's Book Boxes. I've actually altered all 3 sizes. Today I will share how I altered the largest of the 3 boxes. The process for all 3 exterior of boxes is relatively the same.
Firstly, I stencilled in places using Finnabair art basic's modelling paste. When dry I gave the whole 3 boxes 2 coats of Finnabair heavy black gesso inside and out ( I really love this gesso as it's really thick).
Once all dry I started arranging all my embellishments using both E6000 and Finnabair heavy body gel to adhere, again, when that was dry I gave all the embellishments 2 coats of black gesso.
After the gesso dried I started highlighting everything with Finnabair Art Alchemy Acrylic Paint in Royal Red, Dark Velvet, Slivermoon and Steampunk Copper.
For the sides & inside covers of my boxes I adhered paper from the lovely Prima Rossi-Belle collection.
After that was done I started getting creative by adding all different masterpieces for inside the boxes, for this one, I made a flower pot using a half cut china cup and a prima flower face.
I have really enjoyed creating this project and hope that it has given you all inspiration to get creative 😊 Next time I will share both the medium and smaller book box interiors.
Be sure to visit Faith's wonderful store to get all your bits to create these boxes.
Enjoy, Christine 😊
