Hey there crafters it's Tasha here and I have this embellished tag to share with you. I've used all sorts of crafty goodies from faiths shop so let's get into it!!!
Above you can see I have taken a Manila tag and inked the edges with Tim holtz - aged mahogany and while the ink is still wet I have sprinkled some clear - fine embossing powder around the edges and then heat set it with my heat gun. I've done the same with the BoBunny pattern paper. This gives a little texture....a little interest...strengthens the edges....intensifies the color of the ink and is just FUN!
Don't forget you can cut your metal fillagrees, and I have punched a hole in one with my crop-a-idle. Do this at your own risk....but it does work.
Next I just start building up all the elements to get the look I want....(which is hardly ever the look I first had in my mind) be sure to use E6000 when adhering metal.
I then add some little off cuts of pearl trim....save everything!! You don't know when you will need a little bit of something. I've also added some buttons that came in the BoBunny embellishment pack.
Then lastly I add my Prima flowers and some ribbon to the top.
My tag is going in the altered gift box I showed you last week, but tags are perfect instead of a card, glue a magnet on the back and it can brighten up your fridge, create a wee pocket on the back and add a gift card for a special friend lots of fun making tags like this.
Happy Crafting
Tasha xx
