Hey there it's Tasha here and I have a project to share with you using craft supplies from Faith Pocock Craft Studio Ltd. This embellished box is going to hold a Paper Bag Mini Album.
As soon as I saw this gift box at my mums I knew I wanted to use it for this project so when I got it the first thing I did was give it a coat of gesso.
I then used several colors of acrylic paint to get the color I wanted. I inked the edges of some papers and adhered them on. After that was done it was time to embellish.
The papers and chipboard are from the BoBunny Collection - Provence. Below you can see I have adhered using E6000 the Cabachons to this gorgeous bezel.
And from there I just went crazy....layering and adding to build up the top of the box.
I love the look of layering crochet doilies and paper flowers with metal I think it's a beautiful look. The flowers I have used are from Prima. All the metal fillagrees and hardware can be found here in the store under metal findings.
